EI8HT – Our Main location.
Our Main Apartments and Guest Rooms are located altogether at EI8HT. We also have sister accommodation available at Pebble Cottage which sleeps 6 and is a short 2 minute walk away. Q: Do the apartmens & kitchens come fully equipped? Do I need to bring anything?
A: Each apartment is fully equipped with all the basics you require create a full meal. Every apartment and room comes with an iron, ironing board, towels, all linen, TV and DVD player, Ipod Connection and free Wi-Fi. Rooms come with mini fridges and basic crockery, tea and coffee making facilities. We also supply, long life milk, fruit juice, cereals, cereal bars and wine at weekends!
Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking is very limited in Brighton however can recommend our Hotel Parking Vouchers at £12 per 24hr period. Please call in advance to purchase these. The permits allow you to park within the Zone C permit area in the street around the buildings. See our location for more details. Please note we accept no responsibility for guests failing to fill out or display permits in the correct manner and are not liable for any charges incurred. Please follow instructions carefully.
Q: Do you cater for wheel chairs and prams?
A: Due to the age of the building, wheel chair access is not recommend and no lift exists. Access is limited in some apartments so compact push chairs and prams only are recommended.
Q: Do you cater for pets?
A: We welcome your well behaved dogs however full responsibility must be taken for them during your stay. There is a one off charge of £15 per pet. Please inform us at time of booking. Guest animals causing a disturbance to other guests may be asked to leave.
Q: Do you allow large groups?
A: Large groups are permitted only by arrangement and strictly in line with our terms and conditions. Groups causing nuisance or disruption to other guests or local residents will be asked to leave the building immediately with no refund issued. Persons booking will be solely responsible for anyone brought onto the premises and apartment capacities must not be abused. A damage deposit of £300 is required for all group bookings.
Q: Is smoking permitted?
A: Strictly no smoking or naked flames in any of the apartments or common ways. Ash trays outside the main front door are provided for your convenience.
Q: Are housekeeping services provided?
A: We aim to service each apartment every day (depending on access) with linen and towel changes when required. Kemptown Apartments have housekeeping every 2-3 days.
Q: How can I pay and what are your cancellation terms?
A: We accept all major credit cards and bookings can be made directly via our website. Cancellation terms are displayed at time of booking depending how and when you book your apartment. 2% credit card fee will apply to all direct bookings.
Q: What time can I check in and when can I check out?
A: Check in is from 15.00hrs – Check out by 11.00hrs. Late check outs are available by request and subject to availability. Guests failing to check out on time may be subject to additional charges at the discretion of the housekeeper on duty.
Q: Are there additional charges?
A: The price you pay is fully inclusive. Additional housekeeping or extra cleaning costs that are required in the event that an apartment is left in an unreasonable condition will be charged at £50/ apartment max. If an apartment or room cannot be let due to damage or neglect then the guest will be charged for the full night stay until rectified. Any damage will be charged directly to the card used to take a booking. If a room has to be closed due to smoking a charge of up to £300 will apply.
Q: Do you offer discounts for longer stays or multiple apartment bookings ?
A: Discounts are available for longer stays and group bookings – please request this at time of booking – they are subject to management discretion
Q: Do you allow visitors to the apartments?
A: Visitors are allowed to the apartments however guests wishing to stay over cannot exceed the numbers permitted for that apartment. The booker will be fully responsible for their guests and their actions during their stay.

Q: Do you offer discounts for last minute bookings?
A: Yes we can always offer you a discount for last minute bookings subject to availability however we recommend you always book in advance to avoid disappointment. Please call us directly for details of our latest rates.
